A massage that suits your preferences

What it feels like

  • The oil feels comfortably warm on the skin.
  • Long strokes take priority over concentrated pressure.
  • You can discuss warmth and intensity with us at any time.

A good choice if

  • You enjoy gentle oil massage.
  • You are looking for a calm alternative to firm pressure techniques.
  • You want to set aside time to switch off.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Tell us what matters to you

We discuss your preferences, pressure and anything relevant to the appointment. Please tell us about health conditions before booking and check the exclusions in our terms.

  2. Your individual massage

We first discuss your preferences and any sensitivity to oils or fragrances. Warm oil is then applied with long, rhythmic strokes. The areas included depend on your appointment length and our agreement. Our Abhyanga is a wellness massage, without a dosha diagnosis or medical Ayurvedic treatment.

  3. Take a moment before you leave

Allow yourself a little time afterwards, get up at your own pace and take a quiet moment in our seating area. Tell us how the pressure felt so we can take your preferences into account next time.

Before and after your massage

Arrive without rushing

Please allow a few minutes for our conversation. Avoid a heavy meal immediately beforehand. You do not need to bring towels. Let us know about allergies, skin sensitivities and areas you would like us to avoid.

Leave time afterwards

Keep a little breathing space in your diary after the appointment. Take your time getting up and dress when you are ready. If something during or after the massage feels unusual or uncomfortable, tell us. Persistent or unexplained symptoms need medical advice.

Please check before booking

Our services are wellness massages for relaxation and wellbeing. They do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. We do not offer massages during pregnancy. Please do not book with fever, an acute infection, recent injuries, open wounds or while intoxicated. Further exclusions apply under our terms.

Your questions, answered

Is Abhyanga the same as Thai massage?

No. Abhyanga focuses on warm oil and flowing strokes. Thai massage puts more emphasis on pressure techniques and assisted stretching.

What if I have sensitive skin?

Please tell us about known allergies or fragrance sensitivities before booking. We can discuss which oil may be suitable and whether the treatment is appropriate.

How much clothing should I remove?

For every massage, with or without oil, you remove your clothes and keep your underwear on. We provide disposable underwear free of charge on request. Towels are used for draping; please discuss any preferences with us beforehand.

Can I book during pregnancy?

No. Under our current terms, Sabayking does not offer massages during pregnancy. Please do not book a regular massage as a pregnancy massage.

Is this a medical treatment?

No. Our massages are wellness treatments for relaxation and wellbeing. They do not replace medical assessment, psychotherapy or treatment, and we make no promises of healing.

Can I give this treatment as a gift?

Yes. Our voucher page offers a way to give a massage as a gift. The recipient can then agree a suitable treatment and appointment with us.
